  ALS GROUP VESTJYLLAND 

THIS SUPPORT GROUP IS MADE POSSIBLE BY TOMMY PEDERSEN, PALS SINCE OCTOBER 2000.

THE ORDINARY GOALS OF THIS GROUP IS TO ARRANGE , SOCIAL GET-TOGETHERS WITH DIFFERENT SUPPORTS (CALS, MEDICAL aso.). VISITS AROUND PRODUCERS OF AIDS TO DISABLED PEOPLE (toilets, wheelchairs, power wheelchairs etc.). ALSO TO PROVIDE NEW PALS WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE DISEASE AND DIRECT THEM TO The Institute of Neuromuscular Diseases IN DENMARK , WHO PROVIDE A STAFF TO SUPPORT PALS IN DENMARK. The staff is formed by: physicians, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, a psychologist and an educational psychologist. They work as consultants in interdisciplinary teams with contact to the disabled person and to local teams..
